The Xtron M215 Alloy Wheel Lathe is a proven cnc lathe for Alloy Wheel Machining, with its small foot print and wide box type bed construction providing increased rigidity and stability, coupled with its unique custom cycle digitizing and programming direct to a cam profile it is probably one of the smallest and most reliable machines to date.
The Xtron M215 is as truer thoroughbred as our previous models designed and built to last, with a full automatic lubrication system fitted as standard the construction is in keeping with our larger more expensive machines.

The Xtron M215 uses linear guides for extra smooth slide and response, added to this is a completely new construction of bed which absorbs resonance away from the machining face with an even lower center of gravity than our previous machines, which in turn reduces the overall footprint required.
The controller is completely touch screen with icon based features which covers most language implications.
The Xtron M215 can machine wheels up to and including 24ins and has the ability to cut around the out edge

All castings are made of high tensile meehanite cast iron eliminating internal residual stress. Spindle & Gears are constructed from CR-MO alloy steel and precisely ground.
AC main spindle motors
Inverter controlled spindle drive, with automatic cross feed delivers greater cutting accuracy and efficiency for facing work associated with the cutting of alloy wheels.
Inverter controlled spindle braking
Automatic lubrication system fitted as standard for extended service life. Oil bath headstock spindle for longer life expectancy.
Wide bed construction carefully designed for maximum stability and increased rigidity whist retaining a small foot print.

Foot print dimensions:
The actual Machine dimensional sizes are shown opposite, we recommend that an 800mm access clearance is maintained around the machine to the rear, right and left hand side. This will give a footprint of width 2050mm depth 1490mm height 1750mm.
The minimum clearance for the access doors to open is 750 mm width and 750 mm depth.
Foundation requirement:
A solid concrete floor slab, measuring no less than 150 mm In thickness not to include hard-core.
